Health And Fitness: Olympic Day Movement

A ceremony to mark the International Olympic day was celebrated in Yangon on Thursday, performing dancing exercise.

Myanmar Women’s Sports Federation organized the event aiming to give awareness the public to have healthy life.

Secretary (1), Myanmar Women’s Sports Federation, Aye Aye Shwe: Doing dancing exercise is very good for women. As most of women have to do domestic chores and work outside for the livelihood, they are tired and get stress. The dancing exercise could help them to be strong and get healthy mind and body.

4 dancing exercise groups participated in the event.

One of the groups performed the exercise of Taijiquan in the event.

Leader, Pearl Health Group, Kyaw Kyaw Oo: This type of exercise helps to breathe well and clean the inner body. So that by doing this exercise, we can have healthy body and healthy mind.

International Olympic day is celebrated by millions of people in more than 160 countries on June 23rd.
