South Koreans take shelter in evacuation centres after rare earthquake

In South Korea, the 5.4 magnitude quake struck about 9 km north of the southeastern port city of Pohang yesterday, according to the Korea Meteorological Administration. Over 1,500 people were temporarily displaced from their homes. At least 57 people were injured in the disaster, but there is no causality, South Korea's Ministry of the Interior and Safety said today.
