Trudeau: North Korean situation "very scary for everyone."

11 October 2017

Canadian prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he hoped the international community will succeed in deescalating the tension with North Korea.

CANADIAN PRIME MINISTER, JUSTIN TRUDEAU   said "There is no question that how we work together with all partners in the region with North Korea really matters. China has a roil to play, Russia has a role to play, South Korea, Japan, the United States. All Pacific nations need to work together and the fact that we have clear U.N. sanctions, and the fact that we are moving forward in a thoughtful way around the Security Council means we are putting real pressure on the North Korean government. And hopefully, the various pressures will de-escalate a situation that is very scary for everyone."
