Yemeni people receive humanitarian aid from China

The first batch of emergency humanitarian aids provided by the Chinese government arrived in Yemen. The Chinese government has announced a grant of 22.5 million U.S. dollars as relief assistance to Yemen, in addition to 750,000 U.S. dollars for the UN World Food Programme and 300,000 U.S. dollars for the World Health Organization, in an effort to contain spread of the cholera epidemic sweeping across the war-torn country.
