11th ASEAN School Games: Myanmar Wins One Gold And One Bronze

Myanmar won one gold medal and one bronze at the 11th ASEAN School Games, held at Semarang, Central Java in Indonesia.

In track and field competition, Saw December Thein from Myanmar won the gold medal in the Hammer Throw event of Athletics and Lwee Zar grabbed one bronze in the Girls’ 3000-m event. The weeklong 11th ASEAN Schools Games officially began on 18 July with an opening ceremony held at Holy Terang Bangsa School Stadium in Semarang, Central Java.
