2nd day of Tazaungdaing Festival: 2nd day of festival continued at Maravijaya Buddha Image

The second day of Tazaungdaing lighting festival is continued at the precinct of the Maravijaya Buddha Image situated in the Buddha Park of Dakkhinathiri Township in Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw in the evening on 26th November with the throng of pilgrims from various regions of the country.

After conducting necessary security measures for the security of the pilgrims participated in the Tazaungdine lighting festival in front of the entrance, they were given direction to get the places easily such as lighting lamps, launching hot air balloon, looms weaving non-stale robe, shop stalls and the other places.

The pilgrims pleasantly paid homage to the Buddha Image and offered flowers, water and lamps, oil lamps, uninterrupted reciting of Pathana Dhamma discourses, reciting religious verses by the Wut Associations and the whole ground of the Buddha Park is overwhelming with the sounds of Dhamma.

The very first time of weaving non-stale robes with 9 looms to offer to the Maravijaya Buddha Image are being conducted as of this evening and the looms are packed with the pilgrims and spectators.

The stone inscription stupas, Muslinda Lake, Buddha Image coiling by a dragon snake, repository chambers, Thudhamma guest houses, Maravijaya monastery, Aggadhipati Sanana Beikman are packed with the pilgrims as well as the pilgrims in a family or a groups of friends took the documentary photo at the water fountain platform, water fountain (large and small).

The pilgrims are presented with the songs and dances by the MRTV modern music band and the artistes from the fine arts department of the Ministry of religious affairs and culture.
