7th China-South Asia Expo & related events: Myanmar delegation left for PRC to attend expo

Myanmar delegation led by the Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr. Kan Zaw, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo left Yangon for the People’s Republic of China in the evening on 14th August to attend the opening ceremony of the 7th China-South Asia Expo and the 27th China (Kunming) Import and Export Fair, 2023 GMS Economic Corridor Governors Forum and related events.

The events are co-organized by the Ministry of Commerce of PRC and Yunnan Province People’s Government and will be held from 16th to 20th August.

It’s learnt that the 7th China-South Asia Expo will be organized with the topic of “Solidarity Coordination    & Coordination for Common Development” and included 15 sector-wise exhibition booths and over 10 forums including 4th China-South Asia Cooperation Forum ၊ 2023 GMS Economic Corridor Governors Forum, The 16th China- Southeast Asia Business Forum, The 4th Forum on China- South Asia Technology Transfer and Collaborative Innovation, The 11th China- South Asia & Southeast Asia Arts Week, The 4th Lancang – Mekong ၊ Audiovisual Week will be held simultaneously and so will the China-South Asian Fair Digital platform.

The trade expo is held with the aims at boosting exchange of cooperation between China and South-Asian countries and South-East Asian Countries, exchanging dialogue regarding with the cooperation and sharing friendship and the the 27th China (Kunming) Import and Export Fair will be exhibited.
