ADMM-PLUS (Vip Program): SG Attends Closing Ceremony Of Joint Counter-Terrorism Actual-Troop Drill

A Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended closing ceremony of a joint counter-terrorism actual-troop drill of ADMM-Plus (VIP Program) together with Chiefs of armed forces and officials of Defence Ministries of respective countries at the Fenglin Training Field in Guilin, China on 21st November.

On arrival at the Multi-functional Table Top Exercise (TTX) room, the Senior General and party and delegation members from respective countries were welcomed by officials of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China and enjoyed the video on practicing drill.

Later, the Senior General and party as well as attendees arrived at Fenglin Training Field where the closing ceremony would be held.

They were welcomed by delegations from respective countries which participated in the practical exercises and combat vehicles that are used in the drills in a row together with the military band of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China.

The ceremony was led by Deputy Commander of Southern Theater Command and Chief of Staff Lt-Gen Liu Yayong. Member of Central Military Commission and Chief of the General Staff of the Joint Staff Department of the CMC of the PLA General Li Zuocheng and Joint Chairman and Chief of Defence Forces of the Royal Thai Armed Forces General Pornpipat Benyasri presented recognition certificates to those who performed excellently in the training sessions of the ADMM-Plus (VIP Program).

The Joint Chairman, Chief of the Defence Forces of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and member of Central Military Commission and Chief of the General Staff of Joint Staff Department of PLA delivered closing remarks.

The Senior General cordially greeted delegation members representing Myanmar Tatmadaw who participated in ADMM-Plus (VIP Program) and presented cash awards, according to the information released by the office Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.
