Agricultural Census: Workshop On Agricultural Census Collecting Project Held

The workshop on 2022 Myanmar Agricultural Census collecting project was held at Great Wall Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw on 17th June.

At the workshop, the Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Htut Oo said that it should be aware the agricultural census data are important for the most of rural population who are living on agriculture and livestock breeding. The enumerators need to use the previous experiences and carry out in line with  the international standards and norms. Thus, in comparison with the internationals, the comprehensive and correct indexes will appear.

Also present at the workshop were the deputy minister Dr. Aung Gyi, permanent secretary, director-general, deputy director-generals and departmental officials and the responsible officials of the department of farm management and statistics from Nay Pyi Taw Council area, regions and states.
