Art Exhibition: “The Street With The Specks Of Snow” To Be Organized By MCCA

Myanmar-China Culture Association (MCCA) will organize an Art Exhibition entitled “The Street with the specks of snow” at the National Museum in Yangon from 20th to 22nd January, an official of Myanmar-China Culture Association said at the media press on Thursday.

The exhibition aims to promote the existing friendship between Myanmar and China and cultural exchange between the two countries, to maintain the culture of the two countries and to recognize the value of one culture to another. The paintings at the exhibition will feature Myanmar’s traditional culture, the Chairman of Myanmar-China Culture Association said.

Chairman, Myanmar-China Culture Association,  Hlaing Win said “We’d like to spread the art of paintings featuring Myanmar traditional culture to the world through this exhibition. This is the 1st time organized by Myanmar-China Culture Association. Variety of paintings will be shown at the event and all will depict Myanmar culture. I'd like to invite all Myanmar people including international organizations to the exhibition.”

At the press, one of the artists who is also the Chairman of the Committee for Organizing the Exhibition said he hopes the event will help to understand more about the art works of Myanmar artists to the enthusiasts.

Artist, Ni Po U said “I will exhibit 4 paintings of mine. My paintings will feature dancers, depicting Myanmar traditional culture. I present my art works through realism in combination with my creation. Through the event, we'd like to understand more about the art works created by Myanmar artists, their idea and ism to the people and international organizations.”

More than a hundred paintings of 18 artists will be showcased at the exhibition.
