Attack in Buthidaung: 4 killed and 8 injured by AA attack in Buthidaung

In the time of Myanmar New Year while people were performing meritorious deeds, visiting the monasteries and pagodas, AA terrorist insurgents launched heavy weapons attack to Buthidaung Township. They launched the attack at around 5:30 pm on April 17th, resulting in the explosions in the No.2 Ward.
Due to the explosion, 4 locals died and 8 others injured. Among the injured included a 12 year old children, and they were transported to the local defence services hospital for medical treatment.
Launching attack to the residential areas violate the Geneva Convention, and commit the war crime according to international law. Tight security measures are in place, and efforts are underway to take effective action to the terrorists.
