US President Joe Biden is urging all kids aged 12 and older to get Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine amid news that federal health advisers have now endorsed the use of the vaccine in kids that age. Earlier in the week, the Food and Drug Administration cleared the expanded use of Pfizer's shots, citing evidence the shots worked as well in those 12 to 15 years old as those 16 and older.

U.S. President, Joe Biden  said The bottom line is this, the vaccine for kids between the ages of 12 and 15 are safe, effective, easy, fast and free. My hope is that parents will take advantage of the vaccine and get their kids vaccinated. And let's remember that millions of 16 and 17 year olds have also been safely vaccinated. And as more and more Americans get vaccinated, COVID-19 hospitalizations and death rates continue to fall.”

He said vaccine supply will also be available at the offices of pediatricians and family doctors.
