President Joe Biden said Friday he is "confident" he'll be able to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin next month while he is in Europe for the G-7 and NATO summits.
Speaking to reporters following remarks on the April jobs report, Biden said the two countries don't yet have "a specific time or place," but added, "That's being worked out."
Last month, the Biden administration slapped Russia with sanctions for interfering in the 2020 U.S. presidential election and for involvement in the SolarWind hack of federal agencies — activities Moscow has denied.
