Bilateral Relations: DPM MOFA UM received Ambassador of Thailand

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Mr. Mongkol Visitstump at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on 9th of May.

During the courtesy call, both sides cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the existing long-standing cordial relations and bilateral partnership, and also discussed the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation especially in the areas of tourism, education, culture, trade, investment, and people-to-people connectivity between the two countries as well as closer collaboration at both regional and multilateral arenas on the basis of mutual understanding and support.
