Capacity building training: Officers from IPRD attend training 3/2022

The opening ceremony of capacity building training course (3/2022) for the officers organized by the Information and Public Relations Department under the Ministry of Information was held at the meeting room of the ministry at 9 a.m. on July 4.

At the ceremony, the Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn said that the ministry of information is carrying out the reform process for the state-run media with the fresh and attractive programs.

The Information and Public Relations Department is included one of the reform processes.  The library service which is the main task of the IPRD is being upgraded from the traditional system to the digital library system.

For the upgrading to the digital library system, the training for using e-Library Management System Software was opened for three times and a total of 89 personnel have been trained.

The computers and accessories were provided to the district and township offices which will be upgraded to the Digital Library.

The trainees including deputy directors and assistant directors who will attend this capacity building training course (3/2022) for the officers will be lectured the subject of using e-Library Management System Software to be able to supervise in giving library services with upgraded digital library system etc.

The union minister added that the leadership management subject, subject to perform the tasks of the department successfully, civil service law, by-law and financial rules subject will be given.

The trainees are urged to comply with the rules and regulations of the training and make efforts to achieve the purposes of opening training and to apply the knowledge and skills gained from the training in the workplace.
