Centennial trees: Three rare Centennial trees found in Wakema

The forest department of Wakema Township of Myaungmya District, Ayeyarwady Region discovered three rare kanyinphyu (wood oil tree) that are over 100 years of age in the Puttan Village of Wakema Township.

The girth of the trees is 14 feet 11 inches, 14 feet 7 inches and 14 feet 3 inches respectively and the height was about 110 feet. Those rare trees are planned to convey from puttan village-tract of Wakema Township to the Nay Pyi Taw museum, according to the township officer of forest department of Wakema Township.
