Charity Feast and Water Festival: Celebration at the Ministry of Construction

The Ministry of Construction celebrated Charity Feast and Water Festival as a gesture to welcome the Traditional Thingyan Festival on Friday. Union Minister U Myo Thant, the Deputy Minister, the Permanent Secretary and officials enjoyed the festival together with the staff.

In his greetings, the Union Minister wished for having blessed with physical and mental health in the time of New Year. He also urged all to serve the responsbilities of the state and families dutifully after wiping out the tiredness by Thingyan water.

After serving the charity feast, the Union Minister and party enjoyed the water splashing by the Eugenia sprigs. They also cheered the performances of Thingyan songs and dances, and presented the honorary cash to the dance troupes.
