China reports 3,399 new confirmed cases of new coronavirus infection, 86 new deaths

Chinese health authorities said it received reports of 3,399 and 2,841 in Hubei new confirmed cases of novel coronavirus infection and 86 deaths on Feb. 7 from 31 provincial-level regions. Among the deaths, 81 were in Hubei, two in Heilongjiang, one in Beijing, one in Henan and one in Gansu, according to the National Health Commission (NHC). There were 4,214 new suspected cases, 2,073 in Hubei, said the commission.

The number of ICU cases was 1,280 and 1,193 in Hubei. The number of patients discharged from hospital was 510 and 298 in Hubei. By the end of Feb. 7, the total number of confirmed cases in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps had reached 31,774 and the number of death was 722 people. The number of suspected cases was 27,657. The number of patients discharged from hospital was 2,050. By the end of Feb. 7, 52 confirmed cases had been reported in the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, 26 in Hong Kong (one death), 10 in Macao (one discharged from hospital) and 16 in Taiwan (one discharged from hospital).
