Chinese city battles a fresh coronavirus outbreak

A northeastern Chinese city is battling a fresh coronavirus outbreak with stringent lockdown and quarantine measures. Dalian, a port city with more than 7.4 million residents, became the latest hotspot in the country. The city has seen 235 locally transmitted cases and 54 asymptomatic carriers in the newest round of virus flare-up. Most cases were reported in Zhuanghe, where an infection cluster broke out in a university town. China reported 70 locally transmitted cases Sunday, 60 of which were reported in Dalian.
