Chinese mainland reports 3 new confirmed COVID-19 cases

Chinese health authority said on Thursday that it received reports of three new confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland on Wednesday, of which one was domestically transmitted and two were imported. The domestically transmitted case was reported in Beijing, and the two imported cases were in Shanghai and Guangdong Province respectively, according to the National Health Commission.

No deaths were reported, according to the commission. The mainland had reported a total of 1,920 imported cases. No deaths were reported among the imported cases. The total number of confirmed cases on the mainland had reached 83,537. Two new imported asymptomatic cases were reported on the mainland, with no cases reconfirmed to be active. All three imported asymptomatic cases were released from medical observation on the day. Moreover, 1,233 confirmed cases including seven deaths have been reported in Hong Kong, 46 in Macao, and 447 in Taiwan including seven deaths.
