Chinese tourist gets compensation for parasailing accident

The 26-year-old popular Chinese influencer was injured while parasailing at Karon Beach, Phuket due to sudden wind changes on 24th February.

A tourist received compensation worth 400,000 baht for the injuries. The Chinese tourist was treated by doctors and allowed to leave the hospital. Before boarding the plane, the parasailing service operator met her to offer an apology and discuss medical expenses.

The provincial marine chief emphasized the importance of safety measures for tourists, stating that training sessions for boat operators and service providers have been continuously conducted.
