Collective Blood Donation: DPM MoTC Union Minister encouraged blood donors

The personnel and family members of Myanmar Post and Telecommunications under the Ministry of Transport and Communications and blood donors conducted collective blood donation in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay and other cities of regions and states and the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister General Mya Tun Oo encouraged and comforted the blood donors at Nay Pyi Taw 1000-bed General Hospital on 25th October.

In the blood donation, a total of 507 donors including 54 in Nay Pyi Taw and 453 in Yangon, Mandalay and other regions and states participated in the donation. Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win, Deputy Ministers, Heads of Departments, medical superintendents and officials encouraged the blood donors and provided foodstuff and medicines.

The Union Minister Dr. Thet Khaing Win presented certificate of honor and the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister General Mya Tun Oo handed the memorable gifts. The Myanmar Post and Telecommunications initiated countrywide blood donation program in 2016 and this is the 12th edition of it.
