Communal Celebration: Thingyan Festival in all across Myanmar

On the Akyat Day of Thingyan Festival, Union level personnel, senior military officers, Tatmadawmen and family members joyfully participated in the festival at the Pandal of Commander-in-Chief Office (Army, Navy, Air) in Nay Pyi Taw Zeyathiri Township.
During the celebration, cash rewards were presented to the artists who performed Thingyan songs and dances. Likewise, Sein Pan and MagyiYeikPandals in the compound of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) office were crowded with the revelers, enjoying the Yein dance performance and charity feasts.
Since Thingyan is the celebration for all entire community, pandals across regions and states were thronged with the revelers, enjoying the traditional festival with full of Thingyan essence.
Likewise, various military commands celebrate the traditional festival, by building water pandals at their respective military commands and stations. Moreover, prominent recreational areas were teeming with visitors taking relaxation during the Thingyan holidays.
