Coordination meeting: MoEP Union Minister held coordination meeting

The Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han together with the heads of departments attended the coordination meeting with the officers and staff members regarding with the distribution of electricity in the Kachin State held at the state electric power engineer office, Myitkyina at 1 PM on January 9.

First, the state electric power engineer clarified the distribution of electric power in the state, implementation for mitigation of power losses and power outage and the works to be done as per the fiscal year and the work plans. In responding to the clarification, the Union Minister highlighted the points on the efforts to generate more power for the socio-economic life of the people, repairing works of electric towers destroyed by the PDF terrorists affiliated NUG, operating turbines maintaining water to sustain in the hot season, extension of constructing sub stations and keeping awareness on the security etc.

Afterward, the Union Minister provides cash assistance for the ministry’s service personnel serving in the Kachin State, it’s learnt.
