COVID-19 Prevention: MSWRR Provides Assistance for Displaced Persons

The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement is carrying out COVID-19 prevention, control and response measures for the displaced persons in IDP camps in cooperation with the concerned departments and organizations.

The Ministry has provided hand sanitizer bottles, soap bars, lime bags, thermometers, basins, cloth masks, hand speakers and the COVID-19 awareness audio files at three IDP camps in Bamaw Township of Kachin State.

Likewise, the cloth masks, hand gel bottles and awareness vinyl were also provided at the IDP camp in Kukkhai Township of Shan State.

The Ministry is also carrying out the education campaigns and counselling tasks at all regions and states including Nay Pyi Taw Council area.
