COVID-19 REPORT: MINISTRY REPORTS 795 NEW COVID-19 CASES ON SEPT. 29

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 795 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday and a total of 5,962 lab specimens were tested from 8 p.m. of 28th to 8 p.m. of the 29th September.

COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar reached 12,425 with 284 deaths at 8 p.m. on the 29th September. Among the old confirmed cases, a total of 3,391 patients have been discharged from the hospital.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 7 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, Russian Federation, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Spain, Argentina and South Africa according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 5:08 pm CEST on 29th September 2020, there have been over 33.24 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 1 million deaths, reported to WHO.
