COVID-19 Update: 11 new COVID-19 cases reported on July 4

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 11 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 4,447 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 1 patient has recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 613,659 with 19,434 deaths and 592,590 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Russian Federation, Republic of Korea and Turkey, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:38pm CEST, 4 July 2022, there have been over 546 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.33 million deaths.
