COVID-19 Update: 13 New Cases reported at 8 p.m. on May. 8

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 13 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Saturday after testing 1,379 lab specimens within 24 hours with 9 COVID-19 positive patients have been discharged from hospitals on 8th of May.

COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 142,947 with 132,013 COVID-19 patients discharged from the hospital until 8 p.m. on 8th of May.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America with over 32.25 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, France, Turkey, the Russian Federation, The United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and Germany according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 4:00 p.m. CEST on 8th of May 2021, there have been over 156.49 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 3.26 million deaths, reported to WHO.
