COVID-19 Update: 220 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On January 25

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 220 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 11,236 patients within 24 hours. 140 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 534,383 with 19,310 deaths and 512,471 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, Italy, Spain and Germany, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 7:54pm CET, 25 January 2022, there have been over 352 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 5.6 million deaths.
