COVID-19 Update: 284 New COVID-19 Cases Reported on September 26

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 284 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 10,325 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 235 patients have recovered.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 621,686 with 19,455 deaths and 597,182 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and the Russian Federation, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 3:54pm CEST, 26 September 2022, there have been over 612 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.51 million deaths.
