COVID-19 Update: 356 New COVID-19 Cases Reported on September 27

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 356 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 12,903 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 239 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 622,042 with 19,455 deaths and 597,421 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and the Russian Federation, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:59pm CEST, 27 September 2022, there have been over 612 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.51 million deaths.
