COVID-19 Update: 381 New Cases With 2 Deaths Reported On Sept. 28

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 381new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Wednesday after testing 12,011patients within 24 hours.

At the time of the report, there are 2 patients who died due to the disease while 250patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 622,423 with 19,457 deaths and 597,671 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and the Russian Federation, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:18pm CEST, 28 September 2022, there have been over 613 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.51 million deaths.
