Covid-19 Update: 7 New Covid-19 Cases At 8 P.M. On May 2

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 7 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Sunday after testing 1,524 lab specimens within 24 hours with 9 COVID-19 positive patients have been discharged from hospitals on 2nd May. COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 142,838 with 131,981 COVID-19 patients discharged from the hospital until 8 p.m. on 2nd May.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 32 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, France,  Turkey, Russian Federation, The United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and Germany according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 3:09 p.m. CEST on 2nd May 2021, there have been over 145.21 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 3.1 million deaths, reported to WHO.
