Ministry of Health and Sports at 8:00 a.m. on Friday reported no new COVID-19 case after testing 496 lab specimens as the second batch. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 369 with 6 deaths till 8:00 Am on 14th August.
While 321 patients have recovered from the disease, 312 of them have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine. Totaling 1851 lab specimens were tested by the National Health Laboratory (NHL), Department of Medical Research (DMR), Public Health Laboratory (Mandalay) and Public Health Laboratory (Mawlamyine) from 13th to the morning of 14th August.
The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, Brazil, India, Russian Federation, South Africa, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Chile and Islamist Republic of Iran, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 3:41 pm CEST, 13th August 2020, there have been over 20.4 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 744,385 deaths, reported to WHO.
