Covid-19 Update: No New Case Found On 12th August At 8:00 A.M.

The Ministry of Health and Sports reported no new case of COVID-19 found on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. according to the lab results of the National Health Laboratory (Yangon). A total of 92 lab specimens were tested and no new confirmed case was found.

As of 8:00 am on 12th August, there are 360 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar with 6 deaths and 313 recoveries.Out of the recovered patients, 309 have been discharged from the hospital and put under quarantine.

According to the COVID-19 Dashboard of the World Health Organization (WHO) as of 11th August at 5:18 pm CEST, the World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 4.99 million confirmed cases, followed by Brazil with over 3 million confirmed cases and India with over 2.26 million cases.

The Russian Federation, South Africa, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Chile, Iran (Islamic Republic of), Spain and the United Kingdom include in high confirmed cases of COVID-19. Globally, there have been over 19.93 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 732,499deaths, according to the WHO report.
