Drug Seizures: Thousands Of Stimulant Tablets Seized In Kalaw, Moe Mauk & Ann

Acting on the tip off, a combined team comprising member of Anti-drug Squad unit-25 based in Taunggyi searched “Shwe Madalar” express running from Taunggyi to Yangon at the inspection gate to the exit of Kalaw on Sunday. The police seized 10,000 stimulant tablets with WY brand and 1 mobile phone in the backpack of passenger Sai Sein, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Likewise, the Anti-Drug Squad Unit-1 from Bhamo seized 17,100 stimulant pills while searching a surf car driven by Wai Lin at Kyauk Sakham  inspection gate in Moe Mauk Township on the same day.

Moreover, the combined team from Ann Police Station inspected a motor bike driven by Kyaw Sein @ Arr Whar  at Pepa Done suspension bridge inspection gate in Ann Township on the same day.

The police confiscated 6 kilos of marijuana putting in the polyethylene bag, 5,700 kyats and two mobiles. Now, actions were taken against to all culprits under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
