Earthquake jolted east China's

On Sunday, a 5.5-magnitude earthquake jolted Dezhou City in east China, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The Center said, the epicenter was monitored at 37.16 degrees north latitude and 116.34 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 10 km. 10 people have been injured and a total of 74 buildings in the epicenter collapsed, while the transportation, communication and power supply there were normal, said the provincial bureau of emergency response.

And, a second earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 hit the city. Local authorities immediately started an emergency plan and deployed seven rescue stations and 16 fire engines. They also dispatched 93 firefighters to the epicenter for rescue and relief efforts.
