Education talks on Anti-Corruption: SAC member MOHA UM attended the occasion

Jointly organized by the Anti-Corruption Commission and Ministry of Home Affairs, awareness talk on anti-corruption was conducted at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Home Affairs in the morning on 7th of May and attended by SAC member Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Chairman of Anti-Corruption Commission U Sitt Aye, Deputy Minister MaJ-Gen Toe Yi, commission member U Kyaw Soe Lin, officials and staff members.

Speaking on the occasion, SAC member Union Minister said that as the corruption hinders the comprehensive development of the country, to shape a social circle which deny the corruption and is morally upright with the personnel who are implementing the policies of the Government, it’s needed to conduct the awareness campaigns extensively.

The Anti-Corruption Commission is highly appreciated with its effort to educate the personnel in multi aspects in order to understand and avoid the negative impacts of corruption and the personnel need to focus on the interest of the people in serving the duties by staying away from the corruption.

Next, the Chairman of Anti-Corruption Commission explained the objectives of anti-corruption activities, negative effects of corruption and processes implementing for anti-corruption measures. Then, the officials from the Anti-Corruption Commission gave the talks on the anti-corruption measures as per the sector.

After that, a group led by ACC member U Kyaw Soe Lin met with the Corruption Prevention Unit-CPU and discussed the experiences encountered in carrying out the anti-corruption measures, advantages and disadvantages and evaluations.
