Environmental Cleaning and Greening: Weekly collective cleaning activities carried out in Magway

The weekly collective cleaning activities of Magway Region was carried out for the environmental cleaning and greening of the pagoda and temples, monasteries, schools, hospitals and medical centers in the villages, townships, districts and region.

In the morning on 25th November, Saturday, the collective cleaning activities were carried out at No (3) Basic Education High School of Magway Township and oversaw and encouraged by the Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, Commander of West Airbase Command Brigadier General Tun Win, region Ministers, officials from Magway cantonment and departmental officials.

The collective cleaning activities were carried out by the Tatmadawmen, members of Women Affairs Federation and Maternal and Child Association, staff members of General Administration Department, members of Myanmar Police Force and Fire Brigade, departmental personnel, higher and basic education teachers, ward administrators and philanthropic association’s members.

Similarly, at the 17 townships of Magway Region, the weekly collective cleaning activities were also carried out under the guidance of the Magway Region Government, it’s reported.
