Environmental Cleaning: Weekly collective cleaning activities in Mandalay

Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung accompanied by region ministers oversaw the collective cleaning tasks carried out in the precinct of Mahaatulaveyan (Atumashi) Monastery in Aung Mye Tha Zan Township on Saturday.

There, the Chief Minister overviewed the cleaning bushes and weeds, clearing branches and garbage from drains carried out by Tatmadawmen, members of Myanmar Police Force, Fire Bridgade and Red Cross Society, departmental officials and local residents and provided nutritious food.

It’s reported that collective cleaning tasks are carried out regularly at the pagodas, monasteries, hospital, basic education schools and universities in Mandalay region for the cleanliness of the region.
