Firearms and drugs seized: Firearms and drugs confiscated in Muse

The firearms and narcotic drugs were seized in Muse Township of Shan State (North), according to the Myanmar Police Force. Acting on tip-off, the combined team included Anti-Narcotic Drugs Task Force raided a home owned by Aik Kaw (a) Lauk Al in Swam Saw Ward of Muse Township at 1:30 PM on April 5 and arrested Gwam Mai (a) Mar Gwam, Asar Pha and Zaw Latt with 13 units of M21 Rifles, one Type-81 folding stocked rifle, . 22 Sniper, one 12 volt smoothsingle barrel gun, one folding stocked homemade gun, 89 rounds of 7.62 x 39 caliber, string tract hand grenade, 15 various types of magazines and equipments used in making arms.

Following the investigation, the combined teamcaptured 13,050 stimulant tablets, 8 grams of Ketamine, 99 grams of Happy Waterpsychotropic substance, 29 multi rounds and related materials. They have beentaken action under the law and the investigation is underway to reveal thechain of offenders.
