Fresher welcoming ceremony : Mon State CM attended the ceremony

The fresher welcoming ceremony of Mawlamyaing Education Degree College for the 2023-2024 academic year, Department of Teachers Education and Training under the Ministry of Education and pre-primary teacher training batch No (10/2023) was held at the hall of Mawlamyine Education Degree College on Tuesday.

Mon State Chief Minister Aung Kyi Thein, Chief Justice of the State Court, Region government ministers, state level departmental, the principal of Mawlamyaing Education Degree College, teachers and students attended the ceremony.First of all, students performed with “Our teacher” song and the chief minister said that the state government cannot leave the basic education sector behind in attempting for the development of the education.

He added that a country’ s future is in the hands of teachers and the basic education teachers are valuable human resources of education sectors and they play the main role in building the nation and they also producers of the professionals.

He urged that they are teachers who guide the students to be the mental strength citizen.And, the principal of the Mawlamyaing education degree college addressed the welcoming speech at the event and the state chief minister U Aung Kyi Thein awarded the winners of Inter- Education Degree College Sepak takraw competition with honorariums.

And then, Chief Justice of the State Court and Security and Border Affairs Minister awarded the winners of the first year and second year courses Mawlamyaing Education Degree College and the students performed with Pyae Yadanar song, fitness dance and many others. The state chief minister, State Attorney General, region ministers encouraged the performances and greeted cordially to the students.

For the 2023-2024fiscal year, the opening ceremony of the basic computer courses of the working committee on creating job opportunities to eliminate child labor was held on Tuesday morning at the Ministry of Information and Public relations (Mawlamyaing District Office).

On the occasion, the patron of the working committee on creating job opportunities to eliminate child labor and the state chief minister U Aung Kyi Thein delivered the remarks.And then, the secretary of the committee, Director Daw Toe Toe Chit explained about the purpose of the opening the course and the state chief minister, region ministers took the documentary photo with trainees. This course was opened from December 4 to 29 with 20 trainees, it is learnt.
