Guidelines Meeting: Guidelines On Immigration And Population

To give guidelines, Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Khin Yi met with officers who will be appointed at district offices and staff officers who completed training at the Civil Service Academy.
In this guidelines meeting at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw, the Union Minister heard reports on works by respective departments and urged to attendees to understand the objectives and responsibilities of the department, law and procedures and to work with unrelenting perseverance and diligence.
He also highlighted the Ministry’s update on foreigners and border areas management, use of digital system, preparations for the 2024 census, Pankhin Project issuing the National Registration cards for election and implementation of the e-ID system.
The Union Minister also stressed the importance of security measures and urged the attendees to cooperate, to be loyal to the country and to make continuous efforts to become the government employees that people can rely on.
