Hailstorms in Guangxi

Hailstorms battered in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China on Tuesday night, damaging houses, vehicles and crops.Several places in the county were hit by hailstorms, along with brief thunderstorms, gale and heavy rainfalls. Local meteorological bureau carried out hail suppression work in some places to reduce the impacts of the hailstorms.
The meteorological department has reminded the public that in the next two days, the severe convection weather will continue causing negative impacts on agricultural activities, and asked them to pay attention to weather forecast, early warning and risk notification in order to take precautionary measures.
