Handover of Chairmanship: Myanmar delegation at the 7th ASEANSAI Summit in Manila

The Myanmar delegation, led by Union Auditor-General Dr. Khin Naing Oo, attended the 7th ASEAN Supreme Audit Institutions (ASEANSAI) Summit and its related meetings in Manila from November 1st to 2nd.
This attendance was in response to an invitation from Commissioner Mr. Mario G. Lipana of the Philippine Commission on Audit.
During the summit, the Alternate Chair, Philippine Commissioner, extended greetings, followed by a speech by Dr. Khin Naing Oo. Various agenda items were discussed and approved, including the annual reports of work undertakings by the ASEANSAI Committees, amendments of rules and regulations, Independence Collective Research report by the Auditor-General Offices, and basic principles for inspecting construction works.
In addition, the ASEANSAI Chairmanship Commemoration Book for the years 2021-2023, which compiled the work undertaken during this tenure, was presented to the Auditors-General of the member states. Dr. Khin Naing Oo handed over the ASEANSAI Hammer and flag to the Philippine Commissioner, who will act as the alternate Chairman for the next two years.
