Heat shelter for older persons: MGY CM inspected heat shelter in Minbu

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin together with the Region Ministers and Region/District/Township level officials, in the morning on 5th May, inspected the status of opening heat shelter for older persons from the words of Minbu Township at Pyinnya Ahlinyaung private high school.

The Chief Minister inspected the preparations for the older persons to take a rest at the heat shelter conveniently, healthcare Services in free of charge and the foodstuff and other requirements provided by the departments and well-wishers and philanthropic association.

The heat shelter for the older persons in Minbu Township opened at Pyinnya Ahlinyaung private high school provided air-conditioning room from 8 AM to 5 PM daily from 2nd to 14th for 202 older persons including 54 male older persons and 148 female older persons.

At the heat shelter, the older persons provided with lunch, dinner and dessert, entertainment programs broadcasting from TV channels and books.

From there, the Chief Minister and officials inspected extended asphalt laying in front on No (1) Basic High School in Minbu on the road of Minbu-Salin-Ta Nyaung- Seikphu, heard the reports by the responsible officials and gave necessary instruction, it’s reported.
