Honouring Ceremony: Former Football Stars And Athletes Honoured

Bago Region Government held a ceremony to honour Bago Region-born former football stars and athletes.

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win attended the ceremony and praised the football stars and athletes who promoted the prestige of the country. He also sought aid from them for Bago Region sports sector development.

The ceremony continued with presenting 200,000 Kyats each, certificates of honour and honourary gifts to the former football stars U Ye Nyunt, U Tin Aung, U Win Maung, U Than Soe and other athletes. The former football star U Tin Aung expressed words of thanks. The ceremony also included honourary lunch serving. A total of 33 former football stars and athletes were honored there.
