Hpakant Flood: Wards And Village Flooded, Bridge Partially Destroyed

Heavy rain hit Hpakant Township of Kachin State. Due to the heavy rain, Uru Creek water level rose to 8 feet and flooded 4 low-lying wards and Lonekhin Village in the township area. Also, 120 feet long and 10 feet wide NanSam creek-crossing bridge was partially destroyed.

Uru Creek water level began to recede on Tuesday, Information and Public Relations Department reported.
