Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal vehicles and goods confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.
On the 18th and 31st of October, unregistered vehicles and illegal goods including sets of walkie-talkie, air-conditioners, sport shoes and foodstuff worth over 869 million Kyats were confiscated at the Namti, Mokaung and Nansiaung combined checkpoints, at the Eainshaepyin checkpoint, at the Pauktaing Bridge checkpoint, at the Ywathagyi Dry Port and at the Thilawa Port Terminal container checkpoint.
Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
