Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal vehicles, goods and teak seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.
On the 26th and 27th of October, unregistered vehicles and illegal goods including medicines, whisky, timbers, peanut oil, teak and hardwoods worth over 248 million Kyats were confiscated in Dagon Myothit (East) township, in North Okkalapa township, in Zabuthiri township, at the Yangon International Airport, in Dawei township, in Bokpyin township, in Dawei township, in Maungtaw township, in Thandwe district, in Bago district, in Taungoo district and in Pyay district.
Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
